What to expect from the cold plunge?
A continually replenished cold plunge pool—fed by the clear waters of Waterfall Creek—offers the full cycle of hot and cold immersion that Finnish saunas are known for.
It's a metre deep and comfortably fits up to four people at a time, designed for full immersion and an invigorating contrast to the sauna’s heat.
As this is our first year of operation, water temperatures may vary slightly with the seasons. Based on flow and conditions, we expect it to sit between 5–15°C, crisp, clear, and beautifully bracing.
For safety, we operate a buddy system for cold plunges. You’ll need to enter the pool in pairs or groups. If you're visiting solo, one of our team will be close by to supervise and ensure your plunge is safe and supported.
The water quality is monitored with regular lab testing. -
Do I have to plunge?
If the cold plunge is not your idea of fun we have cold showers as well.
-
Who is welcome at a sauna session?
All are welcome, however anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and children under 16 are not permitted in the sauna sessions.
-
What is your sauna capacity?
Our sauna is designed to accommodate up to 15 people. However, during public sessions, we limit capacity to 12 to ensure a more spacious and relaxing experience for everyone.
Booking the sauna for a private session? You’re welcome to bring up to 15 guests and enjoy the full space to yourselves.
-
How does your cold plunge buddy system work?
Our buddy system means everyone will be plunging with a friend. Hot–cold therapy can be an intense shift for the body, and having someone by your side helps keep things safe and supported.
If you're visiting solo, no worries — a staff member will be nearby during your plunge to look out for you.
